Mapleville is a small town a few miles out from the city. It is a quiet, quaint little town with gorgeous houses with big backyards and maple tree's lining the streets. It's the sort of little town that though nothing big ever happens, yet it is never boring. There are cement sidewalks, and green lawns with yapping little dogs that chase the local postman and all the children are home from the park with grazed knee's and dirty shirts for dinner at 6:30 sharp.
The teenagers though in themselves are individuals have all been raised in Mapleville as were their parents and their parents parents and they respect the quiet neighborhood. They have barbeques and get togethers and are generally good kids that go to the local school Mapleville high. All sorts of families live in Mapleville. Nuclear families, Single parent families, Mismatched families. But everyone knows everyone and most people are generally happy with the state of things. In general, Mapleville is the sort of place parent's dream of raising their kids and kid's dream of being raised in.
And Mapleville University, it’s an educational facility for teenagers to attend. Though they live at the school independently, they generally spend a good deal of their time in Mapleville itself, attending the cinema, frolicking in the park or just generally basking in the town’s warmth.
But as always, there is a dark side to Mapleville, it’s a small percent of the teenage population but there is a group that hangs out in the cemetery every few nights. They do drugs, the drink the hard stuff and dream of leaving this heaven that’s become their hell.
Despite the less attractive underworld, Mapleville is the perfect place for everyone.
