Appearance: Axel is about five foot seven tall and is quite toned from all of the dancing he does. He has dark brown eyes and medium brown hair which he usually keeps quite short. He is quite tanned for most of the year because he spends so much time outside. He is quite attractive - perhaps not up to perfume-model standards, but his confidence more than makes up for it, making him very desirable. He has quite a unique dress style because he doesn't go along with trends, choosing instead to mix random items together. He has an ability to pull off even the strangest of combinations.

Personality: Axel's main concern in life is having a great time. He loves to have fun and is willing to take a few small risks to do so, but would never do anything that was actually dangerous. He finds himself drawn to people who can make him laugh, but also to the mysterious, quiet types because he is intrigued to find out more about them. He loves to talk and will do so at great length to anyone who will listen. Axel is quite a touchy-feely sort of person, liking the closeness, but he also sometimes needs his space. He loves to spend time outside; he revels in the freedom it brings. He particularly enjoys basketball, rollerblading and horse riding. He gets on reasonably well with his parents, seeing them as a necessary evil. He is close to the older of his two brothers, thirteen-year-old Jake, but he isn't very close to his other brother Luke because of the age difference (seven years).

History: Axel was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and lived there until he was four, when his parents decided to move to England with him and his two younger brothers. He had already been dancing since the age of two, so naturally he continued with classes after the move. When he was eight, he joined a drama group, where he excelled due to his outgoing nature. He also started singing lessons the same year and when he as ten, he played Oliver in the West End. He returned to school but his taste for performing had grown further still and he began to search for places he could continue training.

When he was almost fourteen, he applied to a few boarding schools, but the Finesse was the one that really took his fancy because it allowed students to take other arts subjects as minors on top of musical theatre. He started off his pre-freshman year with musical theatre & dance, but switched dance for photography with the intention of adding it back into his timetable for year two. He found that he was actually quite skilled at photography and decided that it was the best decision he'd ever made. Now, at the start of his second year, he has all three of the subjects to contend with on top of his academic ones.

Roleplay Sample: Axel flexed his hands one more time to crack his fingers, before standing up and walking towards the doorway. He followed the man into the room and placed his paperwork on the end of the table, before walking round to stand in front of the panel. Waiting patiently, he watched as the folder was passed along to the man in the middle, who opened it to the first page and read over it. A few moments later, he looked up and fixed Axel with a firm but kind look.

"It's nice to meet you, Axel. I hope you are well. Now, as you know, you've reached this audition stage because we were very interested in you from your application. Today is an opportunity for you to show us what you can do. If you take your music over to the pianist, we can begin."

Axel nodded and walked over to the piano, where he spoke to the pianist about his music. Once he was certain the woman understood, he returned to his spot in the centre of the room. He had chosen musical theatre as a major, but dance was still his most comfortable subject so he had taken it as a minor. It just meant he would have to do lots of singing. In a way, he was excited, but at the same time he was nervous about this particular bit of singing. He'd chosen quite a difficult song to impress the panel - fingers crossed it would work. He took a deep breath, before starting to sing
