San Francisco College of the Arts: on the surface, it's your typical arts school - music and dancing fill the halls with sights and sounds, artistry adorns every nook and cranny available. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.

It's the start of the fall semester, which means new faces, new project ideas, and new scandals to get entangled in.

SFCA is for all those with a passion for their chosen art and a spark of creativity. There are always activities going on, be it stage productions, concerts or gallery viewings - all of which lead up to one thing: the spring showcase. Students of all ages compete to become part of the elite, the ones that are chosen for the public, end-of-the-year showcase. Only the best are taken, but spots don't fill up very quickly.

This year, however, there's something more to worry about: the school's been receiving anonymous, cryptic threats, and whoever it is is blaming Bethany Whisper's blog for sending them over the edge. Of course, this does nothing but make BW all the more popular, now that people are trying to put the puzzle together, but will she (or he) go too far and cause the threats to become promises? Or will the students and/or authorities figure the enigma out before it's too late?
